In spring 2020, three more Hearing rooms will be refurbished by SCRA.
This is the third batch of rooms to be designed in the new look style created with input by Hearings-experienced young people.
The three sites set for the make-over are Aberdeen, Arbroath and Dundee.
Aberdeen and Arbroath have opted for Route 3, which captures elements of a Scottish seascape, with calming colours ranging from blues, purples and mauves. Dundee chose Route 2, which provides the sense of an open and calm living room style environment, with yellows, creams and light blues.
Both portfolio choices have proved to be very popular and continue to be rolled out across the country.
SCRA’s Participation Officer Jennifer Orren said: “It’s fabulous to see more Hearing rooms being refurbished in this inclusive style which was design-led by Hearings-experienced young people. The feedback from all our new look rooms has been extremely positive.”
