SCRA has launched a new Communications Commitment and Participation Pledge aimed at children and young people. You can view it here.
This is part of SCRA’s Corporate Parenting Plan and it sets out how we will communicate with children and young people.
We aim to ensure:
- Our communications with you are clear and understandable.
- We give you accurate and helpful information.
- We are easy to contact and available to answer any of your questions.
The Participation Pledge covers communication with children and young people, before, during and after their Hearing. Some of SCRA’s Modern Apprentices helped develop this new guide.
Jennifer Orren, SCRA’s Participation Officer, said: “We want our communications to be as clear and easy to understand as possible. We are always keen to keep improving our communications with children and young people, so if you have any suggestions about how we can do things better, please get in touch.”
